Social Welfare Perm Sec Embarks on Facility Tour

The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation, Lauretta Davies-Dimkpa, yesterday, embarked on a facility tour to inspect and familiarize herself with the operations of the Ministry’s care homes at Iriebe and Borikiri, both in Obio-Akpor and Port Harcourt Local Government Areas. Accompanied by the Heads of Our Gallery in the Ministry, she met with staff and residents despite the heavy downpour, and thanked them for their dedication to duty, while also urging them to maintain high standards of service delivery. Davies-Dimkpa also urged residents in the various homes to cooperate with the Staff to ensure the smooth operation of the facilities.
